You enjoy exclusive use of the house for your event. The eight large bedrooms in the house mean you can stay together as a family or with close friends the night before and after the big day.
Ideal for an intimate and personal ceremony
Our main reception room is licensed as a wedding and civil ceremony venue for up to 40 guests. With large picture windows overlooking the surrounding countryside and an elegant interior, it’s ideal for an intimate and personal ceremony.
You can also have a wedding breakfast or dinner in the house for up to 40 guests to continue the relaxed country house feel of the day.
Our original walled garden, flowerbeds and waterfall look just great as a backdrop to your photographs. The garden also has a terrace where up to 200 can gather for a drinks reception. There’s room, too, for a marquee for up to 250 guests with Balmule House and the rolling Fife countryside as a backdrop.
Our proximity to Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as ease of access to the rest of Scotland, makes us a popular choice with couples whose families and friends are coming from all points north and south.
